Spot the hotspot spots!

spot the hotspot spots was on the 13 of May, Saturday, Organise by youth zone:D. My group: Esther(the leader), Amanda, Kimberly, Eunice(my friend), LingYing(amanda'a friend) and ME. well, if you noticed we had 6 people instead of 5, but we did not want to split up and leave 1 person out and the organisers said it was ok to have 6, so yeah. Actually, Michellina was supposed to come but at the last minute couldnt cause she had to go somewhere and was busy or something.It suppose to start at 2, but because people came late and we had ice breakers so the race[something like the amazing race in Singapore] The 1st clue was "find the floodlights in Queentown" well, i did not know wat are floodlights but my mum said it was the stadium and my brother said it was the lights used for soccer but he was part of the organisers, so he couldnt actually tell me. so we ran our way to Queenstown Stadium. We were the 1st grp to arrive there:Dyay! the task we had to complete was to leap frog over each other from 1 point of the stadium to another. After that, we had to count the number of floodlights before opening up the next envelope. we counted and was sure that the answer was 120 but they say it was the wrong answer, then we thought of trying 121, 122, 123 and so on. And the ans was 124. haha, but I still think the ans is 120 because the siren thingy on top is not counted wat. then 2 of them was 24 and the other 2 was 36 so add them up : 24+24+36+36=120!!!!! Anyway, the next clue was "wardrobe corner unit hoppen"....wat is that??? well, we thought of many things...but the pencil in the envelope. at first, i didnt think much of it, maybe it was just to let us write something the we would need to or something like that. BUT it was an IKEA pencil. So we were clueless for a while untill we thought about that. I did wish that we thought of it earlier. Then we immediately headed for IKEA. there were a few grps in the bus too but they got on the next stop. We met Jocleyn who told us she actually wanted to buy that cupboard.We rushed our way up to find that cupboard. we measured the size which was written on the cupboard and sms to YiEn. Correct on the 1st try and we opened the next envelope. next clue"a place which stars are manufactured" right...so we were thinking where is IKEA would there be stars much less manufacture stars. so we asked around, the staff gave us ans like in heaven....like how are we supposed to go there?LOL...Anyway, we decided to go to the cafe and get the 2 free drinks because of my ikea card and then use up 1 of our lifelines by calling JianHong. Only then did I find out that there was a love letter together in the envelope, well even if i saw I think I wouldnt have knew. lol. the love letter was alot of crap, the cule to the place where stars are manufactured is at the last part"P.S: I love you" --> "P.S" is the clue. Which is PLaza Singapura.!!!???HaHa. well, we thought it was actually somewhere in IKEA. And we wasted alot of time there....haizz, it maybe a blessing in disguise anway:D. So we made our way to PS and we looked at the directory and Esther said 7 level! Guess wat? Star Factory, the arcade. We looked for a station marshall and played a game which was some hitting game. the station marshall forgot to put the money for 2 people so in the end we won and did not have to stay for 2 mins as a forfit. the next envelope we opened was a puzzle which we put together and a picture of a couple saying"lets get married", at first we were wondering wat it was then later we accidentally looked behind and found words behind the piece of puzzle. that says"I am located on a fort"or something like that. SO..we thought of Fort Canning!! As we were making our way down and asking for directions to fort caning, yien called us and told us to open another envelope and skip that one. so we open the other envelope and it had "3 piecies of paper. 1)A key and superman on it. 2)A maybank with satues outside it. 3)instructions: 1.Take pictures with the statues outside the maybank then proceed to the 2nd level of McDonals and complete a task with the station marshalls." So Eunice's Dad said try raffles place. then we met KaiQing and her grp on the way, she said that she went there and that we should take the MRT to Clarke Quay instead. So, we trusted her and went there, on the way YiEn called and asked where were we, she told us that raffles place is nearer than Clarke Quay and told us to turn back if not we have to walk v.far. Aiya, also cant blame KaiQing lah, anyway this could be a blessing in disguise too. BUT we were reaching liao then we didnt feel like turning back so we decided to just contiuned. We got out of the station and headed towards the opposite bus stop, we were tired and thirsty so we all bought a drink at the nearby stall and then tried to find a bus that would bring us there. In the end, we deicided to walk. Some nice people gave us instructions and we followed them:) and we soon reached, not that far lah....haha but raffles place nearer, but if we didnt come by the clarke quay way, we wouldnt have saw the McDonals. Could be a blessing indisguise. anyway we found the maybank and took a pic with the statues then, raced to the Mc. We were extremely tried at that point in time. Anyway, we still made it ther in one piece. haha. and the game was something like snap.hehe. In the next envelope was a "spot the difference pic, and the no. of differences will determine which train station would we have to stop at and proceed to a fountain." turns out the differences is 12. btw, the pic was an orginal pic of YZ people. Cool:) Anyway, its bugis station and near SeiYu there got a fountain. so we practically sprinted all the way there because there was another group in the MRT with us. Anyway, we were supposed to go into the middle of the fountain and sing O' McDonals, then name I forgot how many mamals.HAHA. Well, we did it and it was an experience of a lifetime!:) then next the last stop: East Coast Park. So, we asked the lady at the control station for directions but soon after YiEn called and told us to take a train to Tampines then a bus to East Coast Park.There were quite a few grps on the same train so it was quite tensed. On the way there, YiEn called again to tell us to take a taxi there.(which was not allowed because its a rule, however its from her it is ok.haha.)So, we got off @ the next station and rushed to take a taxi. We had 6 people so we split 3-3. Kimberly, Eunice and me got onto the 1st taxi. Then, Esther, Amanda and LingYing the next. However, they reached 1st. Their taxi driver better!!??....haizzz. Our taxi driver didnt know how to get there. Anyway we sprint all the way to pits 76 & 77. Carpark G.It was soo far. Surprisingly, We were the 1st to get there.YAY!! well, we were wet and sweaty, so we went to change the eat the BBQ food that they prepared. oh and in the end, we won 2nd place. The Bottomline is that it was very tiring BUT extremely FUN!!! I would like to thank all the organisers for organising this incredible event! We really enjoyed ourselves:)
